Future of Work

I’m David J Crawford, an AI Product Manager with two decades in the trenches of product design and tech innovation. I’ve been lucky, lucky to have parents who encouraged curiosity, lucky to stumble into digital design and software engineering before that was really a “thing,” and lucky to ride the waves of change as the internet, mobile, and now AI reshaped how we build and why we build.

Over the years, my work has shifted from code to pixels to strategy and systems. These days, I spend more time asking “why” than “what”. Why we create, how we decide, and what it means to design in a world where machines are no longer just tools, but collaborators.

This is my thinking space. A place to explore the shift from knowledge work to what some are calling “wisdom work”, where judgment, ethics, and creativity matter more than ever in the age of generative AI.
